Some businesses start with a plan. Ours started with a journey.

Co-founder Erwin travelled through the Mauritanian Sahara with his wife Sandra for five weeks, a hardshell rooftop tent on the roof. Sand, heat, a different spot every evening. And every evening that tent was up within a minute. They were not the only ones impressed: so were their fellow travellers, experienced 4x4 drivers who know what they are talking about.

We had to do something with this

That was the moment. Father and daughter carried on together, and that became LCM Offroad. Entrepreneurship runs in the family: the family business Van Dijk Multiservice B.V. has been around for over thirty years.

Because that is exactly what good gear does to you. A good rooftop tent makes your trip better: you drive on to that one beautiful spot, because finding a place to sleep is no longer an obstacle.

Affordable premium hardshell rooftop tents, shipped from the Gouwe in Hoogwoud. Premium in quality and ease of use. Affordable because, as far as we are concerned, there is no need for an outrageous price tag.

What you get from us

Call or message us and you get Inge herself. No call centre. If you collect your rooftop tent in Hoogwoud, we help with the mounting for free and fit stronger bolts than the ones supplied as standard. Roof racks are up to you, they differ per car.

Everything we sell comes with a 2-year warranty.
