LCM started out of pure love for the Land Cruiser — hence the name, LandCruiser Maniac. But don't let that fool you: our rooftop tents are made for every car, from Land Rover and pick-up to an ordinary SUV or estate with roof bars. Our tents and accessories came along on a five-week expedition through Mauritania, across the desert of Tunisia and over every kind of terrain in between. Sandstorms, corrugated tracks, heat by day and cold by night: whatever didn't survive those trips, you won't find in our shop. What you wíll find: the Dune, Oasis and Savannah — three aluminium hardshells that passed that test.

We work directly with manufacturer SAN HIMA. No importers and distributors each adding their margin — which is how we can offer an aluminium hardshell with 5,000 mm waterproofing, a comfortable mattress, LED lighting and a shoe pocket for a price that elsewhere often buys you a plastic budget tent. And set up in 60 seconds.
3. Fitting help ánd better bolts — as standard
Collect your rooftop tent from us and we'll help fit it to your car on the spot. And because we know what corrugated tracks do to bolts, we fit every tent as standard with stronger, better-quality bolts than the ones in the package. Free, as an extra service. The only thing you arrange yourself is suitable roof racks for your car — and we're happy to advise on those too.
4. Service that doesn't stop after the sale
On our service page you'll find what really sets us apart: winter storage with a complete check-up (the “Hotel” service), professional fitting and removal with lifting systems, and personal advice where you can simply come by for a “test lie-down”. Within 50 km we also deliver and fit ourselves.
5. Try first, buy later
Not sure whether rooftop tent life is for you? Rent an LCM Dune for your next trip. Love it? Then we deduct a good chunk of the rental fee from the purchase price. Your test weekend is practically free — and you never buy blind.
